The public pages of this site are designed not to need your data.

Calculators never send anything

When a calculator on this site asks for your weight, height or age, the arithmetic runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to our server, stored, or seen by us. Health data is a special category under the GDPR, and the simplest way to protect it is not to collect it.

What the server sees

Like any website, our server receives your IP address, the page you requested and your browser's language preference, which we use to pick the language of the landing page. We keep ordinary server logs for security and operations, and nothing else.

Analytics

The public pages use no analytics or tracking at the time of writing. If that changes, it will happen only with your explicit consent, will never include anything you enter into a calculator, and this page will say so.

Cookies

The public pages set no cookies. Signing in to the app does, and that is covered by the app's own privacy policy.

The app is separate

If you create an account in Modice, the app stores the data you give it to plan your food and keep your diary, under its own policy, which you accept when you sign up and can read at any time from within the app. Reading this site does not create an account and does not connect anything to one.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the supervisory authority in your country. For the public site the honest answer is usually "nothing beyond server logs"; for the app, use the account tools or write to us — see Contact.
